With Woke Rey Director Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy already dealing with the ongoing disney star wars fan backlash for the rey skywalker movie featuring daisy ridley produced by kathleen kennedy…one major development has to do with her reaction after getting fired from numerous lucasfilm star wars projects for both directing and co writing gigs that she was signed up for shortly after agreeing to do the rey star wars movie aka the new jedi order movie or as others call it the 2026 star wars movie that will release the same year as the mandalorian and grogu movie. This comes in the wake of the rumblings of the rey movie cancelled situation that turned out to be a scenario of the rey movie delayed indefinitely due to steven knight having to rewrite parts of the script at lucasfilm and also having creative differences but it goes beyond that.
