A quick Southern Illinois Kapper Outdoors farm vlog today on how one of the goose families are progressing. On the last update we had TWO families with 11 or 12 goslings, but now we are down to one family with 4 goslings. We believe that the other family went into hiding in the tall weeds, as they have done that in the past to avoid predation. We also believe that one of the goslings from today’s family defected and joined the other family, that is hopefully in hiding right now. Stay tuned to see if they show back up like they did last year when they are quadruple the size! Here is the video description to the last update:
