Vampire Hunter D is apparently a franchise with many highs, but I think you’d be hard pressed to find a higher point in its rich hisory than its 2000 gothic horror anime movie Bloodlust. On today’s Wholesome Halloween we look at how this movies visuals crafted a world that could have been pulled straight from the pages of its novels with a scale and spectacle unmatched in vampire fiction.
