Dogged Ukrainian troops are pushing Russian forces back from Avdiivka. Drone footage showed a Bradley fighting vehicle and M113 transport counter-attacking Russian positions on the outskirts of the city. The Bradley provides covering fire as Ukrainian troops exit the transport and begin attacking the Russians, At one point a squad of Ukrainians tries to eliminate Russians hiding in a building, as one dodges death by millimetres after almost being shot in the head by a sniper. Elsewhere, a Ukrainian T-64 repulsed the Russians by destroying a BMP transport with a direct hit from its main cannon. Russia tried to break the defences from distance, using FAB-500 glide bombs to try and create gaps for their troops to move through. But they failed, as the Ukrainian 110th Brigade demonstrated by chewing up a fresh armoured column using anti-tank rockets.
