Tristan (Brad Pitt) was such a torture soul. I think he had a passionate love for Susannah (Julia Ormond) but that was all since it was never enough even when they had the opportunity when the younger brother die they couldn’t be happy and let’s be honest a lot of time Tristan was cut off and couldn’t be fully bothered with her.

World War I exposes Tristan to the horrors of war, leaving a lasting impact on his psyche and contributing to his inner turmoil. Through Tristan’s journey, the film explores themes of love, loss, and redemption.
