Now that we’ve had some practice with the chainsaw mill, we headed over to the tent house site to take some measurements and clear the land a bit. There were several dead trees and underbrush that needed to go. When we tell you this winter has been incredible… we truly mean it. We didn’t think we’d get this project started until spring. But the mild winter has allowed us to work outside, being completely encapsulated in Gods wondrous beauty. The snow, the trees, the still. We were humbled and even had to stop a couple of times to take it all in. Now that we’ve got our true measurements and a good canvas to work with, we’re right back to work. We cant wait to get this tent house up in the pines.

Lauras *FAMOUS* Chocolate Chip Cookies
Cream together:
2/3 Cup Shortening
2/3 Cup Softened Butter
1 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Brown Sugar
ADD To Creamed Mix:
2 Eggs
2 Teaspoons Vanilla
In a separate bowl mix together
Just under 3 cups Flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
2/4 teaspoon salt
Mix with batter, Add desired amount of chocolate chips
Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
