In this video, Kevin Flanagan will discuss Irish mythology focusing on the Arrival of the Tuatha de Danann, the so-called ‘Gaelic gods and goddesses’, in Ireland.

Were they a real group of people descended from the Biblical Noah, or did they descend from heaven? Were they magicians and necromancers or just more brilliant in natural sciences than the more primitive populations they mixed with?

Drawing from sources of Irish folklore, Irish manuscripts, and various books about Irish history, Irish fairy tales, Celtic mythology, and Irish legends, we will clear some of the mists and mysteries surrounding this enigmatic tribe, the Tuatha dé Danann.
