BREAKING STAR TREK NEWS – Details on the next live-action Star Trek series have arrived. Titled “Starfleet Academy”, the new series is taking us to where most Captains careers begin. The series will be following a group of young cadets.

Production is underway with filming expected to start in late summer, with the first season confirmed to be 10 episodes. The series aims to cater to a new generation of Star Trek fans, while welcoming back long-time fans. Executive Producer Alex Kurtzman did say the series may not release until 2026.
