Sarcosuchus: The Prehistoric Super Croc
Sarcosuchus was a massive relative of crocodilians which lived in what is now North Africa and South America during the Early Cretaceous Period. This /”Super Croc/” was so large that it was not only capable of hunting dinosaurs, but was also the largest known predator in its environment. However, young Sarchosuchus had long, thin jaws specialized for catching fish, allowing them to avoid competing with the dinosaur hunting adults for food.
