No cable? No problem! PBS has your back, kiddo. Who needs shows about space monkeys firing lasers from their hands when you have a show about a bald child learning about the world around him? Welcome to PBS Kids.

This is a compilation video I put together using footage of programming breaks and episodes from shows that played on PBS during its PBS Kids block in the year 2000, loosely based on its after school programming. Certain shows (like Arthur, Clifford the Big Red Dog, and Adventures from the Book of Virtues to name a few) can’t be used for copyright reasons. Think of it as a retro remix or a bootleg television broadcast.

This is one hundred tenth television broadcast video I’ve done like this, and the second PBS block I’ve made. This is a follow-up to the previous video on PBS’s PTV from 1995. When I made that video, I knew there’d be people who’d enjoy it because it has been requested in the past. But I also knew it wouldn’t cover everything PBS had to offer, so I made this video as well. I feel like there’s a lot of great shows in this line-up, and judging by the comments I got when I announced the previous video and this one, I think it’s going to have a lot of what people like. Hopefully it has something for viewers like you. Enjoy!
