Robert Goldsborough (1937- ) After Rex Stout’s widow died in 1984, the Stout estate contracted Robert Goldsborough, a journalist and ad man, to continue the successful Nero Wolfe Series. Mr. Goldsborough wrote an additional 16 Nero Wolfe books, including Silver Spire which was published in 1992. Most fans of the original Stout novels have praised the Goldsborough versions. His last book was released in 2021.

Michael Murphy – (1938-) Born in Los Angeles, California, Mr. Murphy served in the Marine Corps, and was a high school teacher before moving on to acting. He has had a successful career and has performed in numerous movies including: Woody Allen’s Manhattan, An unmarried woman, M*A*S*H, Nashville, X-Men: The Last Stand, and Tim Burton’s Return of Batman. On TV he appeared in: Hogan’s Heroes, Tanner ’88, LA Law, The Greg Louganis Story, Judging Amy, and has narrated 5 American Experience documentary episodes.
