The first ever Nagaland Potato Festival was organised at Jakhama village in Kohima district on May 10. The festival aims to promote and give organic potato cultivation in the state as well as enhance farmer income by promoting the establishment of agriculture-based enterprises and to facilitate development of value-added products through capacity building and technical support.
