Sky News host Rita Panahi says the “woke mind virus” has taken a firm hold on the culture from academia to the corporate world, but there are “promising signs”.

Ms Panahi provided two recent examples of corporations walking away from the “ideological capture,” which was led by public backlash.

“Disney has delayed the release of its much-mocked Snow White re-imagining,” she said.

“You know, the new PC version of the classic fairytale starring this insufferable girl with the seven dwarves replaced with an ethnically and gender diverse group of ‘magical creatures’ to ‘avoid reinforcing stereotypes’.”

After Disney received mockery from the public, the company announced the release date of the Snow White live-action remake will be delayed by at least a year, and the dwarves will be reinstated.
