In previous timelines, Li Mei was an anti-hero. She had ties with Master Bo-Rai-Cho and the other Earthrealmers, but in her ending (Which was non-canon) it showed her true colours, and she abandoned all of the heroes. In this new timeline, Li Mei is very noble, however, many other fighters feel threatened by her authority.
