The Invictus Games was founded by Prince Harry in 2014 as a multi-sport event for wounded, injured or sick armed service personnel and veterans. It’s held every two years and this year marks the 10th anniversary. Meghan and Harry have been closely involved as patrons ever since the inception.

It was meant to be a celebratory occasion as the flag bearers from over 20 participating nations paraded through the city before the Opening Ceremony tonight. However, things took a chaotic turn when Meghan unexpectedly inserted herself at the front of the procession in an apparent bid to head the parade.

Eye-witnesses say there were audible gasps through the crowd as Meghan walked to the front wearing dark sunglasses and flanked by her security team. Many veterans who had gathered to watch were furious at her actions. As she raised her hand to wave, a torrent of loud booing rang out that could be heard from blocks away. Chants of /”Harry, where are you?/” and /”Go home Meghan!/” started up
