Star Wars actor Mark Hamill was mocked online after he appeared at a White House press conference.

The actor, who played the iconic Luke Skywalker, was alongside White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.

Upon the 72-year-old stepping up on stage, he announced he was gifted a pair of sunglasses and a tour of the White House by US President Joe Biden.

The actor then revealed he asked President Biden if he could call him “Joe-bi-Wan Kenobi/”.

As the video of his appearance circulated online, users on X roasted Hamill for his “cringeworthy” appearance.

“They’re scraping the bottom of the barrel desperate at this point. So cringeworthy,” wrote one user.
