Night Prayer Before Sleep – O Lord, i come humbly beseech you to bless us all. I ask that you bless us every night as we sleep, so that we may be filled with peace and be bereft of sorrow. O Lord, bless us with peace and sprinkle us with joy. Even though the night is black, your light is shining in our homes, O Lord, thank you for your love. I ask you to bless every house in the world. O Lord, your word says your blessings make us rich and add no sorrow to our sorrows. O Lord, we trust in this blessing which gives spiritual wealth, which strengthens us, which makes us more compassionate, more loving, and more reliant on you. O Lord, be with us amidst our problems.
