Following the release of video showing Lil Wayne’s kids failing to rise to welcome Queen Latifah upon her introduction at a basketball game, social media went utterly crazy.

X users expressed their fury, claiming that Wayne’s kids /”disrespected/” Latifah by staying seated during their handshake at the court. Many, particularly the elderly, believed that to not support someone as iconic as Latifah was a sign of extreme rudeness. But a lot of individuals didn’t understand the significance. Based on his personal background, some contended that Wayne won’t be someone who teaches manners. Others countered that this was just social media snooping in on unimportant business. It appears that neither Latifah nor Wayne are aware of any social etiquette norms being breached because they have not responded to the /”incident/”.
