NOBODY talks about this ANIME. It has an intricate and interconnected story, with dynamic and complex characters that try to survive in a war-torn world. Throughout the story they must make difficult choices as they come to a realization about themselves. It explores things like war, philosophy, terrorism, corruption and even a bit of existentialism. The animation for it is very good, especially considering it was released in 2008-2009.

I tried looking for other people’s reviews on YouTube expecting there to be several, but there really aren’t many. I was looking for somebody’s explanation for a couple of things within the series and to see if I missed anything important. Unfortunately, much of the anime is up to the interpretation of the viewer and most viewers were extremely confused by it, not giving it the best of ratings.

Xam’d isn’t the type of anime that’s going to hold your hand while it provides you the exposition. Rather it explains through showing it to you via things like actions. You need to do the work yourself and if you aren’t up for that the anime isn’t for you. So in this video I’m going to summarize what happens in Xam’d Lost Memories and go over my takeaways from the anime.
