Jormungand follows Jonah, a child soldier who hates weapons more than anything, and his employer Koko, one of the world’s foremost arms dealers. Along with her crew of other bodyguards, Koko slowly develops a plan to rid the world of war and conflict, with her crew, her enemies, and even Jonah serving as the tests for launch. Through their actions in the anime, Koko finds evidence to say her plan to send humanity back centuries in terms of technology is necessary. But, let’s look at just how, and also why Koko is one of, if not the best, developed characters in all of anime.
