Israel war cabinet minister Benny Gantz has announced his resignation in a blow to Benjamin Netanyahu’s campaign against Hamas in Gaza.

There’s been much speculation about the level of falling out between him and Prime Minister Netanyahu.

There are rumours the two no longer speak.

Mr Gantz had set out an ultimatum to resign on June 8 if the Prime Minister had not established a plan for what would happen in Gaza following the conflict and a plan for bringing the remaining hostages back.
