Caravan World finally gets its hands on what we think is one of the best out-of-the-box 4WDs on sale today for an epic tow test.

We hitch up a full-size, 3500kg ATM Wonderland RV in Melbourne, tow with a petrol Trailmaster to Brisbane where we hitch up the latest Jayco CrossTrak and hit the beaches north of Noosa.

After a couple of days pushing into strong, hot winds, we make it to Eldee, just outside of Broken Hill to wrap up our shoot before heading back to Melbourne.

12 days and 5000km later, we have our results.
