IAM[023] Written in the Stars·Destinies – Bloodlands. KILL ME NOW
The Central Plains of China, also known as Zhongyuan (Chinese: 中原), is the birthplace of Han Chinese civilization. Perhaps this land was once cursed by fate, and its civilization, since its birth, has constantly suffered major setbacks and has been terminated by barbarism. There are many testimonies about the origin of the Han Chinese civilization, among which there is a hypothesis that the Yan Emperor (Chinese: 炎帝) tribe was from the Sumerian civilization in the West, and the Yellow Emperor (Chinese: 黄帝) tribe was a barbarian tribe from Siberia (Russian: Сибирь, romanized: Sibir’) in the North. The two tribes fought for thousands of years in the Central Plains, and eventually, the Yellow Emperor destroyed the Yan Emperor, forming the Han Chinese civilization of later times. This civilization, in turn, was conquered several times and severely barbarized.

However, just like the rebel celebrated in Han Chinese Mythology, Xingtian (Chinese: 刑天), the god who stood firm against the invasion of the barbarians in the north, is still standing after his head was chopped off. To this day, he is still wielding his axe to slash at the sky, accompanied by Yan Yingyuan’s resolute voice of /”kill me now,/” carving an indelible mark in the history of Han Chinese civilization with their blood and axe:

崖山之後無華夏,
After the Battle of Yamen, Chinese civilization was broken.
閻吏之後無漢人
After the death of Yan Yingyuan, the Han Chinese ceased.
– Han Chinese Folk Poetry
