FT: Tottenham Hotspur 3-2 Brentford
Spurs were victorious in their PL clash with Brentford at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium winning by 3-2!
James Maddison returned to the starting lineup replacing Brennan Johnson and Pierre-Emile Hojberg was swapped out for Ollie Skipp from the previous game against Manchester City where Spurs were knocked out of the FA Cup.
Tottenham started well with some nice pieces of play between Dejan Kulusevski, James Maddison, Richarlison, Timo Werner and Rodrigo Bentancur.
But it was Thomas Frank’s side who went 1-0 after Ivan Toney’s shot was parried by Vicario and then put away by Neal Maupay from the rebound – and both players did James Maddison’s darts celebration.

And Spurs started the second half in great form with Destiny Udogie scoring his second goal for Tottenham in great fashion.
And Spurs were then 2-1 up minutes later in a total turnaround as Timo Werner assisted Brennan Johnson to put some more pace in the game.
Then Tottenham made it 3-1 after James Maddison’s amazing run was put away by Richarlison!
Ivan Toney then scored his second PL goal of the season since his return from a ban after a huge mistake from Destiny Udogie.
But Spurs held on to win the game 3-2!
