The Cirque of the Towers in Wyoming has long been a thing of legend for me. I use Google Earth to visualize its dramatic Geology and location in the Wind River Range, which is perhaps one of the most remote parts of the Mainland United States.

Stories speak of massive Grizzly Bears, clouds of mosquitos, and unexpected lightening storms in the summer.

My brother and I finally had the chance to do a short segment of this Mountain Range, and backpack up and over the Continental Boundary twice during a heatwave in the summer of 2023. We were very fortunate with conditions.

I was left in complete awe by the immense scale and beauty of this place and cant wait to return to explore more remote parts of this vast wilderness.
