![Getting the Most Out of Chaos Daemons in 2024 - Warhammer 40k 10th Edition Tactics & Army Guide](https://ytimg.googleusercontent.com/vi/MusA2EXvmAM/hqdefault.jpg)
I’ve had a whole lot more practice since my original Chaos Daemon tactics guide & would like to show you some of the combos I’ve been using to get the most out of my demons for tournament level play. I made sure to include representatives from every Chaos God: Nurgle with his resilient extra stat sticks, Khorne with his bawls out damage potential, Tzeentch with his ‘across the table’ shooting & finally Slaanesh for their speed / shenanigans. This time around I tried to only include what I consider to be the best units for one of the best armies in this 10th Edition Warhammer 40k competitive army guide
I’ve also included a rundown going over the most important Strategem’s we have access to, along with sections for each Chaos God’s particular combos & synergies
While this can sort of be seen as an addition to my Chaos Daemon Tier List from the past, a lot has changed over this time (not only points but just learning the in’s & outs). One of my big hopes with this video is that it might spark some ideas to branch out & try some new unit combos you’re unfamiliar with. Maybe you’ve never ran Bloodletters, or got burned by the Keeper of Secrets yet again so shelved your Slaanesh all edition – well now’s the time to bust them out & see what they’re really capable of, whether casual or tournament play
While the Chaos Space Marine codex is right around the corner, I’d like to do a similar update for them as they’ve seen *many* changes over 10th edition. While we had been struggling as one of the worst armies in 40k (WR% that is) the recent MFM buffs have helped breath some fresh air into the Chaos faction as a whole so I still think it’d be fun to take another look at them; along with Death Guard, World Eaters, Thousand Sons & Chaos Knights (1ksons are looking esp. amazing right now!)
With Adeptus Custodes & Necrons finally getting some deserved balancing (ok maybe not *that* harsh for Custodes) I think now is the perfect opportunity to shine with Chaos. Time will tell if the new Orks Codex / Meganobz threat will overrun the tournament scene, or if Sisters of Battle will continue to sneak their way up the ladder, but only time will tell. That said I fully believe Daemons are one of the stronger armies currently in 10e wh40k. I’d like to continue to release some more Chaos 40k content here shortly. I’ve been working with a good friend on potentially doing some 10th edition battle reports and/or 40k lore reviews so we’ll see what we can come up with for you guys
As always please consider liking & subscribing if you haven’t already, I really wouldn’t be here without you guys so sincerely thank you *all* so much for coming along with me! Best of luck on the table & please let me know if you have any questions/suggestions/etc
