About this video:
This video was taken in June of 2022 when my foxgloves looked absolutely beautiful. This video didn’t get many views at the time, and my channel has grown since. Since I received so much feedback on these foxgloves during my last video, I thought I could share this cottage garden tour of my front walkway. Most foxglove varieties are biennial. This means the first year you sow the seeds, they will grow roots and foliage, and the second year, they will send up their beautiful bloom stalks. Some varieties such as the dalmatian peach, as well as the Camelot can bloom from seed in year one. Foxgloves are toxic and should not be grown if you children or pets that frequent your garden. Hope you enjoy this tour, and find some inspiration to grow some foxgloves in your garden. If not, I hope it at least keeps the winter blues away, and some excitement for the upcoming growing season. Thanks for watching – Steph (Gardening in Massachusetts zone 6b) #gardentour #cottagegarden
