For Parents Whose Children Left the Christian Faith – Steve Lawson
Recently, @ligonier uploaded a video where Steve Lawson attempted to provide hope for parents whose children have abandoned the Christian faith.

/”What encouragement do you have for parents whose children have left the Christian faith?/”

This is an extremely difficult and sensitive issue that far too many parents have had to experience. In this response, Idol Killer pushes back on Lawson’s claims, demonstrating they’re incompatibility with both Scripture and the Calvinist position, while offering hope to parents who are grieving their own prodigal children.

God desires mercy and is quick to forgive! Your child was not appointed to reprobation and damnation in eternity past. God is here now, active, willing and able. He grieves with us and desires that none should perish. We can trust Him!
