The Authority is a superhero team created by Warren Ellis and Bryan Hitch for WildStorm Comics, which was later acquired by DC Comics. The team consists of various characters with unique powers and abilities, including but not limited to:

Jenny Sparks – The leader of the team and a being of pure electricity.

Apollo – A Superman-like character with super strength, flight, and the ability to project solar energy.

Midnighter – A highly skilled martial artist with enhanced strength and durability, and the ability to predict his opponents’ moves.

The Engineer – A shapeshifter who can manipulate technology and has cybernetic implants.

Swift – A winged woman with superhuman speed and strength.

Jack Hawksmoor – A man with the ability to communicate with cities and manipulate the urban environment.

Together, the members of the Authority fight to protect the world from various threats, including rogue governments, alien invasions, and supernatural forces. They are known for their no-nonsense attitude and willingness to take extreme measures to get the job done.
