DRY POUR SLAB UPDATE & More Treehouse Is On Hold
This weeks video is a little different because the treehouse build is temporarily on hold. We are waiting on a permit to begin our next project, but in the meantime, we did get the tent ordered! We show a little sneak peek of the tent and we are beyond excited to get it all set up…. but of course, it’s backordered which is also delaying our project! We’re certain this tent will be worth the wait, though!
We are in one of the busiest times of our lives and some days it fees like we’re spinning 39 plates and any of them could come crashing down at any moment. Mostly all good things: CJ has a lot of exciting things happening for him, Finley is running varsity and junior high track, we’re finishing up our homeschool year, the Cottonwood Koti is keeping us busy, Teds still working his full time job, and then theres all the spring homestead projects that seem to be never ending.
Thats all the good, and we are so grateful for of all the /”highs/” that life brings, but what we don’t often talk about is all the lows. We have really REALLY felt the devil on our backs lately and it has been a true test of our faith to be diligent in our prayer, patient and understanding with each other, and as a friend so sweetly reminded me, /”that growth doesn’t come from the mountaintop, but in the valleys/”… and we feel that. We’re coming out of this little valley with hope and excitement for what the Lord has planned for our future.
Ted and I just feel so much better that we were able to catch you guys up on the happenings around here and we will be back to more of our regular content next week. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
