Willie Pep was an American featherweight boxer celebrated for his exceptional defensive skills, speed, and agility. He had an impressive career spanning from 1940 to 1966, boasting a record of 229 wins out of 241 fights. Known as /”Will o’ the Wisp,/” Pep won the World Featherweight title twice and is famous for his rivalry with Sandy Saddler. He was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 1990 and is remembered as one of the greatest boxers in history.
