We are at quarters of FDNY Engine 68 and Ladder 49, the House on the Hill, at 1160 Ogden Avenue, where we see both companies as they respond to Box 2769 at 1515 Selwyn Avenue between East 172nd Street and Mt. Eden Parkway for smoke in an apartment. Engine 68 was first due, with Engine 92 and Engine 46 being 2nd and 3rd due respectively. Tower Ladder 44 was first due truck, whilst Ladder 49 was second due. Battalion 17 was the sole Chief on the Box. I am unsure of the outcome of the run. Engine 68 is utilizing a spare rig in the form of a 2009 Seagrave Marauder II. Ladder 49 has a brand new 2023 Seagrave Attacker with a 100-foot rear-mount stick, which was just delivered in the previous week.
