Ford has been manufacturing royalty for the longest time, but as far as battlemech goes, their only real contribution was the rather obscure THE-series Thorn.

As a 20 tons quasi-scout, quasi-fire support, quasi-trooper, it does everything /”well-enough/” to remain in production over close to 600 years, but nothing /”well-enough/” to have supplanted the more common Locust as a fast land scout or the two /”ole reliable/” which are the Stinger and the Wasp.
