Overview: In the village of Gavaldon, two misfit best friends, Sophie and Agatha, play out their incredible friendship. Sophie is a lover of fairy tales and dreams of escaping her mundane country life, while Agatha has a cold exterior and the aura of a true witch. One night, under a blood-red moon, a powerful force brings them to the Academy of Good and Evil Magic, where every true story from every wonderful fairy tale kicks off. However, the situation is a little bleak from the start: Sophie is enrolled in the Academy of Evil, under the charge of the glamorous but mean-speaking Mrs. Lessor, while Agatha is enrolled in the Academy of Good Ideas, under the supervision of the sunny and kindly Professor Dovey. According to the principal, attending classes with Cinderella’s and Captain Hook’s offspring and King Arthur’s handsome son doesn’t seem like much of a hardship, and only true love’s kiss can change the rules and get the girls into the school they were meant to attend. But when a dark and dangerous figure with mysterious ties to Sophie reappears and threatens to completely destroy the school and the rulebook, the only way to have a happy ending is to survive the fairy tale first.
