Tim Burton is another director that had a massive impact on me growing up, and of all his films, Edward Scissorhands has remained one of my favorites for years. I saw it when I was very young, and haven’t stopped watching it since, and watch it regularly still. I connected deeply to its themes and feelings, and fell in love with his artistic style. I’m obsessed with the imagery in this movie, and there’s not a thing I would change about it… but to top it all off, the story is beautiful, hilarious, weird, sensitive, heartbreaking, and strongly empathetic. It’s another film that’ll make you laugh and cry, through its awkwardness and vulnerability. I will love this movie forever and ever and ever. ️️️
