前朝公主司徒靜被大將軍司徒青雲夫婦收養，倍受寵愛。司徒靜天性活潑開朗、冰雪聰明。她最喜歡外面的自由世界，每每扮成男子，遊走於市井小巷中，加上她以龍少俠自居，我行我素，天馬行空，又喜惡作劇，所以三教九流的朋友送她親昵綽號「小龍蝦」。繼位不久的年輕皇帝朱允雖少年英武，大智大慧，卻有些愁眉不展。朱允雖為皇帝，卻大權旁落，內憂外患使宮中的他十分不自在。於是他想方設法出宮查民心、訪民情，同時也讓自己享受些自由時光。司徒靜在市井朋友萬人敵的勸說下決定打劫齊國公的不義之財。不料找錯了人，奪了白雲飛的訂親鐲子。朱允出宮後遇見了善心大發的司徒靜，他對這個仗義疏財頗受市井百姓喜愛的「小龍蝦」極有好感。朱允念念不忘「小龍蝦」，屢次出宮尋找，之後他和司徒靜、白雲飛再度相遇，三人惺惺相惜，司徒靜提議三人結成兄弟。大將軍司徒青雲和宰相文章兩家水火不容，偏偏司徒劍南和文章的二女兒文薔深深相愛。司徒靜被哥哥與文薔的真情感動，決定幫助成全他們。朱允和白雲飛在幫助司徒劍南和文薔的過程中，發現了司徒靜的女兒之身，兩人也都在心裏喜歡上了司徒靜。朱允為了司徒靜，執意不立文媚兒為皇后；白雲飛為了司徒靜，決意中止和安寧公主的婚約。司徒靜珍視與朱允、白雲飛的友情，決定誰也不嫁。同時覺得白雲飛和安寧公主是很好的一對，她想盡辦法成全二人，可二人在一起就是生氣打鬧，全不符司徒靜原先的設計。最後經歷種種磨難，司徒靜與朱允在一起。從此，刁蠻公主正式步入學率宮中，宮中於是大亂，寂寞的皇宮從此充滿歡聲笑語。

Despite his position in the palace, his heart yearned for the freedom of the rivers and lakes. He occasionally disguised himself and ventured out, observing the sentiments of the common people and experiencing the taste of freedom.
It was during one of these encounters in the rivers and lakes that Situ Jing and Zhu Yun met. Alongside them, by a twist of fate, came the prospective groom, Bai Yunfei. The three of them formed an unlikely bond. And so, a series of captivating stories unfolded, filled with conspiracies, family ties, and love.
